If you're new to me... hi there! My name is Sherri King and I'm a travel agent and travel and lifestyle writer / photographer.

I have the honour of working with some of the top travel brands such as Viking Cruises, Pursuit Collection, Rocky Mountaineer Rail Tours, East Winds St. Lucia, Booking.com, Reservations.com, Kingfisher Resort & Spa, Fairmont Hotels, Hilton Hotels, and  more.

And while that all sounds magical (which it is!), building this business was no walk in the park.

In fact, when I first started my travel blogging and Instagram journey in 2016, I had NO idea how to grow my side hustle into a full-time gig. I didn't even know that I wanted to just that I wanted to share my travel experiences with others and use my blog and social media as a tool to help sell vacations for others.


Here’s the truth: If you’re going to build a successful blog,
then you’re going to have to get real about it!

It doesn’t matter how great of a travel professional you are. If you don’t know how to position yourself as an expert, find clients that need what you have to offer, and actually make money from your services, that business isn't going anywhere.

Successful travel professionals know that in order to build a business that doesn’t include you working 24/7, begging for clients, or playing the “I'll waive my fee” game, you need to have three things in place:

And that's to know who your ideal client is, how to write the perfect post, and your social media strategy.

Because at the end of the day, if you don't know who your ideal client is and how you can help them, and how to find people who will actually book with you... your business isn't going to get very far, right?!
